Completely revised Boley Leinen WW82 lathe, cross slide, tailstock, and graver tool rest. 220v single phase powered VFD capable of infinitely adjustable 0-3000 RPM with lever controlled forward and reverse.
Revisions include
Lathe body complete disassembled stripped and refinished with 2-part epoxy urethane.
Lathe bed reground and straightened.
Spindle stripped rear bearing replaced and reassembled tested for runout. 0.01mm at spindle nose.
Cross slide disassembled and lubricated. this was already in good condition showing original scraping marks on ways.
VFD, motor and light completely rewired as new.
